Office Closure: Dec 28, 2024 - Jan 5, 2025 for New Year Holidays

Please be informed that the MyJapanBrand office will be closed from December 28, 2024, to January 5, 2025, for the New Year holidays.

You can still place bids on Yahoo Auction and Mercari items during this period.

After the holidays, we will update you on auction results, process PayPal authorizations, respond to inquiries, and continue with our Purchase Service, including receiving, packing, and shipping out items.

If you would like us to ship your item out before the holidays, check out and complete 2nd payment before December 25 2024.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE: Japan's tax laws have changed ***
MJB has not charged users Japan sales tax until now, even if the item prices on Yahoo Auctions pages do not include Japan sales tax. Unfortunately, Japan's tax laws changed on October 1st. From now on, we will charge an additional 10% on the final price if it does not include Japan sales tax. This amount will be added to the second charge when you pay for shipping, etc. If the price already includes tax (mainly if the seller is an individual), we will not add Japan sales tax.

For shopping sites other than Yahoo Auctions, sales tax will be added in the following cases:

If the seller is outside Japan
If the listed price does not include Japan sales tax
